Abe-no-Seimei served as the major antagonist in this novelization.
His vengeful and demonic temper made him no longer a normal human, and he was called "DAEMON", meaning a "demon".[1]
Ability[]
Shikigami Manipulation: As an extremely powerful onmyōji, Abe no Seimei was skilled at summoning and controlling various Shikigami including the Twelve Heavenly Generals and Oni.
Empowering Yōkai: Abe no Seimei is capable of empowering Yōkai, as he did so for Nue.
Levitation: Abe no Seimei, like Nue, is capable of magically flying with his sorcery.
Legend[]
Abe no Seimei is the most prominent onmyōji in the history of Japan. He is most often noted to not be entirely human, as in the legend of his birth where his father, Abe no Yasuna, was human but his mother was a fox named Kuzunoha.
