Powers and Abilities[]
Legend[]
There are several different legends of the Akarinashi-Soba. One is where hungry travelers walking in the mountains at midnight saw a noodle shop and tried to get to get to it, but they could never reach the phantom shop. The legend as one of the Wonders of Honjo refers to a mysterious noodle shop opened almost every night nearby a river, where no one is inside, neither owner nor customers, and the lamp was not lit. No matter how many times anyone tried to light the lamp, they failed, and anyone who tried to light it later suffered unlucky events and accidents and banes when they got homes.
Mizuki theorized that this phenomenon was likely caused by ghosts or illusions caused by hunger.[1]
