The Ancient Gods (古代の神々 Kodai no Kamigami) are ancient gods from the manga and anime series "GeGeGe no Kitarō."

History
Throughout the series, they have defeated/sealed various demons and dangerous Yōkai in the ancient periods including the ancient demons appeared in Kosokoso-Iwa, and Nozuchi and Daidarabotchi in the fourth anime adaptation.
Manga
The Gods knew all about the evil plans of the ancient demons and Kosokoso, and one of the deities put a portion of the power as a clone and a spy into the DNA of the lineage of Sayuri Kimura whom DNA was manipulated by the demons to produce the "Blue Blood", and set a trap that the blood will lose demons' minds and slay each other.
1996 Anime
At some points in the past, Nozuchi and Daidarabotchi were sealed by each gods respectively.
