Atarin are floating, crescent-shaped spirits with buck teeth and eyes with yellow sclera and red pupils. They're colored a light violet.

Atarin are a type of spirit from Papua New Guinea that possesses food; being especially prevalent in bananas and nuts. If one eats a food that has been possessed by an Atarin, they can gain supernatural abilities. In worse cases, those who eat the food that an Atarin has possessed can contract diarrhea or even death.
