Bokura (ぼくら) was a monthly children's magazine published by Kodansha from 1954 to 1969. Although popular at it's start, by the mid-60s it was struggling to find an audience and was canceled in October of 1969. It was soon relaunched as a weekly release titled Weekly Bokura Magazine (週刊ぼくらマガジン, Shūkan Bokura Magajin) in November of 1969 and before being canceled altogether in 1971. Toward the end of it's run, it published the super popular manga "Tiger Mask".

Shigeru Mizuki worked with "Bokura" a few times, most notably publishing the first serialized version of Kappa no Sanpei and a series of picture book remakes of stories from the Shonen Magazine GeGeGe no Kitarō manga.
