Chiaki Konaka or Chiaki J. Konaka (小中千昭) is a writer and novelist. He is specially known as the head writer of Digimon Tamers.

- The story-line of the first episodes of Digimon Tamers and Ultraman Tiga were largely influenced by one of the original scripts prepared for 1995 film Gamera: Guardian of the Universeby Chiaki and Kazuya Konaka and Yoshikazu Okada prior to the final script being written by Kazunori Itō. The script by Konaka brothers which depicted Gamera to be raised by children was later adopted for Digimon Tamers and Gamera the Brave.[1][2][3]
