Chimi (地魅 Chimi, meaning Mystical Earth) is a yōkai who takes part in the baseball match to get the Yōkai Bat back in the GeGeGe no Kitarō series. He was given his name in the 1968 anime.[1]
Appearance[]
In the manga and the later anime adaptations, he is a large being with multiple eyes and mouths and short limbs.
In the 1968 anime, two Chimi appear, one is a yōkai that resembles a bipedal mound of clay with a pair of short, human-like arms and hands. He has no head, instead, his face is located on his torso, which consists of a pair of eyes with small pupils, small nostrils that sit below each eye, and a mouth.[1] Another one appears with multiple eyes and mouths.[2]
