Comic Bom Bom (コミックボンボン) was a monthly children's manga magazine published by Kodansha from 1981 until it's cancellation in 2007. In July 2017, it was relaunched as a web manga site.
The first "GeGeGe no Kitarō" series published in Bom Bom was Saishinban GeGeGe no Kitarō, by Mizuki Pro. Shigeru Mizuki later published Akuma-kun and Kitarō Kunitori Monogatari in the magazine.
It had two sister magazines: Super Bom Bom (スーパーボンボン) and Deluxe Bom Bom (デラックスボンボン), both published monthly. "Super" only ran for a year, from 1987 to 1988, while "Deluxe" ran from 1990 to 1995. A special chapter of "Saishinban", The Great Ghost War, was published in "Super" on August 30, 1987. Mizuki continued "Kunitori Monogatari" in "Deluxe" from 1992 to 1993.
