History[]

Akuma-kun (1966)[]

Dokuron appears in episode #9 of the series, Dokuron's Dance. His plan is to kidnap children and take them to Jigoku, so that him and the dead can take over the living world.

He is first seen attacking two workers in an amusement park, freezing them and placing them inside a haunted house. The next day, he disguises himself as a flute-playing clown, and advertises a magic show in the amusement park he visited yesterday. During the show, he used Jōhōya to demonstrate his tricks, and later lures in Shingo Yamada and another one of his friends to a hall of mirrors, revealing his true form and transporting them into Jigoku, where they're chased by Ghosts.

Dokuron eventually leads the other children into Jigoku, this time in the haunted house, and when Mephisto's younger brother arrives, attempts to trap him with some trees. He then goes back to Jigoku to tell the ghosts about his plans, but is then confronted by Mephisto again. Dokuron use his powers to escape the elderly akuma again, and goes back to the stage of his act to throw knives at him. Luckily, Shingo arrives just in time to temporarily incapacitate Dokuron, who attempts to shrink Mephisto, but is deflected and gets shrunk back!

Dokuron is placed inside a jar, which is then tied with balloons, floating up in the sky.
