Dozaemon (土左衛門, means drowned corpse) is a Yōkai who takes part in the baseball match to get the Yōkai Bat back in the 1968 anime.[1]
Appearance[]
Dozaemon is a tall humanoid with small, round eyes, an upturned nose, buckteeth, bushy sideburns, thin limbs and torso, and a round belly. He only wears shorts. His design seems to be based on a Gaki.
Personality[]
Dozaemon is a friend of Kitarō, and enjoys playing baseball. Out of all the members of the Yōkai Baseball Team, Dozaemon seems to be the closest to Kitarō, as he also appears in Nezumi-Otoko's sideshow.
