Enra-Enra (えんらえんら or 煙羅煙羅 Enraenra, lit. Smoke Fabric-Smoke Fabric) is a gas yōkai. They first appeared in the Shonen Magazine story Enra-Enra.
Appearance[]
In the manga, the Enra-Enra is made up of wisps of smoke, with a bald, humanoid head, beady eyes, a big nose, and a wide smile. He often appears as a black cloud with beady eyes when flying.
In the 1985 anime, Enra-Enra is larger, and he lacks arms. His body is dark-purple, while his head is a light-purple, and his eyes have yellow sclera.

The Enra-Enra is a yōkai from the Konjaku Hyakki Shūi. Its body is composed of smoke that rises out of hearths or bonfires. Only those with a tranquil mind are able to see it.
Because of how this yōkai's name is similar to Enma-Daiō, it's theorized that they are related in some way, with Enra-Enra being associated with the image of Jigoku's fires.
