Fairy Hanako (
Appearance[]
In general, she has a pair of oni-like horns on her head, and wears a raiment which closely resembles traditional images of those worn by angels and celestials.
In the 1968 anime, Fairy Hanako is a yōkai that resembles a little girl with a slightly big head. She has dark hair, a pair of horns on the side of her forehead and her eyes have white pupils. She wears a strapless dress that reaches her feet, a pair of earrings and has a long ribbon floating around her. Unlike her original and subsequent incarnations in the manga and the 1985 anime, her horns in this anime adaptation are shorter and less vividly developed.
Within the 1985 anime, Fairy Hanako still resembles a child, but now with pointy ears and a larger head. Her hair is now blonde and messy, her horns are slightly longer and her eyes have dark blue irises. She wears a strapless pink dress that reaches her feet, she lacks any earrings and has a ribbon that floats around her.
