Genji Osada (長田幻治 Osada Genji) is a human who appears in the 2023 movie The Birth of Kitarō: Mystery of GeGeGe.

He was the chief of Nagura Village during the events of the film, and he had been generally entrusted by others.
While he has a wife and a son, he has either a feeling or an affinity to Otome Ryūga.

Ablitities[]
Kidō: As he was one of the exiled members of the Kidōshū, he is extremely skilled with wide range of the Kidō sorcery including forbidden techniques. When he stabbed Sayo Ryūga with his spear, Sayo was engulfed within a blue flame and annihilated into ashes while it is rather ambiguous whether or not this was due to Genji's sorcery, or Sayo's physiology who became a "yorishiro" of multiple Kyōkotsu.
Controlling Kyōkotsu: With forbidden Kidō techniques, he can control a legion of Kyōkotsu that was sealed in the Nagura Village.
Weapons[]
Spear: At the brink of his death by vengeful spirits controlled by Sayo Ryūga, Genji killed Sayo with his spear.
