The Gyūki Rock is where the Yōkai Gyūki is sealed away.[1]
Description[]
Gyūki Rock often appears as a rocky place near a fishing village. It was named this due to Karura sealing the Gyūki there. Because of this, the locals regard it as a cursed place, and often advise others not to go to it when at sea.

1971 Anime[]
Gyūki Rock appears in episode #15 of the second anime, Gyūki. In this adaptation, the mother of a boy named Chuta speaks of it as the place his father went missing. Later on, Chuta and his friends find the foreign Nezumi-Otoko fishing on it, and tell him to stop due to its nature. It is last seen here as being the place Kitarō reseals Gyūki's true form in.
