Hebi-Miko is a Tsukimono from Shōdo Island, Kagawa Prefecture. It takes the form of multiple snakes. If the family who owns a Hebi-Miko holds a grudge against someone, they can use these spirits to attack and curse them, ending with the person dying after the spirits eat their internal organs.

One day, a chest washed up on the shore, and many people, without even checking the contents, claimed to be the first to find it and that it was theirs. Eventually, those who claimed it decided to divide it equally among themselves, but when they opened the chest, multiple snakes popped out! It is said that the families of the people who claimed the box now had the spirits that would become Hebi-Miko.
