Hiroshi Aramata (荒俣 宏, Aramata Hiroshi), born July 12, 1947, is a Japanese writer, novelist, cultural historian and yōkai researcher. He is most famous for his novel series Teitō Monogatari, which introduced the character Yasunori Katō. He was a close friend of Shigeru Mizuki and a member of the World Yōkai Association, as well as a frequent contributor to it's official magazine Kwai.
