I'm a Freshman (ボクは新入生, Boku wa Shinnyūsei) is a GeGeGe no Kitarō story that was first published in 1964 as a chapter of the final rental manga. Shigeru Mizuki later remade it as a chapter of the Shonen Magazine run as Oboro-Guruma. It was adapted for the Hakaba Kitarō anime.
