Plot[]

Two boys are fishing by a rocky shore, where one notices that a storm is forming. His friend Sudeo suggests going home, but he wants to stay for one more catch. Suddenly the Iso-Onna appears and kidnaps Sudeo. His friends calls for help from the adults, while they do not believe his claim of a Yōkai doing it, they go out to search for him. However, they find no trace of him and think to search in the mountains tomorrow.

Unknown to them, a tiny waterbug was listening to their situation and tells a cockroach about it. This eventually reaches to a bat who flies off and informs Kitarō. The Yōkai boy gets there by a swarm of bats and tries to lure Iso-Onna out. She surfaces and is entangled by the Kitarō fishing rod, but her baby latches onto the boy and turns to stone. Unable to handle the weight, Kitarō falls into the sea and Iso-Onna swallows him.

Iso-Onna goes back to her cave, but finds that she is unable to digest Kitarō and vomits him out. The Yōkai boy is curled up in a ball and is rock solid. She tries breaking him, but he bounces off the wall and hits her in the face. The baby inspects Kitarō and gets punched. Angered the baby begins sucking and eventually Kitarō. Boasting that the boy took the baby too lightly, being the true body of Iso-Onna. However, the baby does not stop swelling and has Iso-Onna hold them down. The baby keeps sucking in air, but is not even breathing, and the two explode. Kitarō reveals that this was his Air Bomb Technique.

The waterbug tells Kitarō that the kidnapped boy is in one of the octopus jars embedded in the rocks. He saves Sudeo, informing the boy that this place is where Iso-Onna has lived since long ago that there is a sign marking the shrine. With this Sudeo returns home to the fishing village and Kitarō silently leaves.
