Iso-Tengu (
Appearance[]
Iso-Tengu is a tengu-like kappa with a bird-like face similar to Karura, with dark-brown skin, angry bows, big nostrils, a pointed, beak-like mouth, long, red and black feathers on the back oh his head, and beady eyes. He wears a ragged, light brown cloth around his neck, a light-brown kimono with dark-gray cuffs and tied with a light-brown obi, spotted hakama, light-brown cloths around his wrists, and brown gloves.

Iso-Tengu is a yōkai, who contrary to its name, is described as being a kappa rather then a tengu. It appears the seas of the Aichi and Mie prefectures, and emits hinotama on the rocky shore at night to catch fish.
If a fisherman finds that all the fish they caught disappeared, it is said to be the work of Iso-Tengu.
Trivia[]
- The mold of Iso-Tengu's mask was also used for Konoha-Tengu, Nishakubō, Ao-Tengu, Jūnibō, Aka-Garasu, Shibaten and Tsuchi-Tengu. He is the only one with eyes.
