Iwaryū or Ganryū (岩竜/岩龍, Rock Dragon) is a yōkai.
Appearance[]
As all of its appearances in the series have been sporadic and very small. Physical characteristics of its under-body is unknown.
It has a head resembling that of a bat or a pig.

Shinigami Tai-Senki[]
Iwaryū joined the battle against western yōkai.
Saishinban GeGeGe no Kitarō[]
In the chapter eight The Great Spirit World Battle, it appeared as a minion of Nurarihyon.
It lives in rock caverns of the spirit world. Along with Dasuza and Tsuchi-Gumo and Nugu, it attacked Kitarō and others when they were playing "Spirit World Hide and Seek" in the caverns.

- Iwaryū's design in the series was a re-use of an illustration used in Dai Shocking Gahō (大妖怪ショッキング画報) on the Shōnen Magazine.
- Iwaryū was also seen nearby a Yōkai Hotspring.[1]
