Jōji Yanami (八奈見 乗児, Yanami Jouji, born August 30, 1931-December 3, 2021) is a veteran seiyuu from Fukuoka. He was born Shigemitsu Shirato (白土 繁満, Shirato Shigemitsu) in Fushun, Manchuria. He is best known for voicing the Smart Villain (Boyakky, etc.) in the Time Bokan Series and the Narrator in the Dragon Ball franchise.
He provided the voice of Ittan-Momen in the third and fifth anime, as well as Ido-Sennin in the fourth series.
