Kaeru-Otoko (カエル男 Kaeru-Otoko) is the first apostle of Ichirō Matsushita.[citation needed]
Appearance[]
Kaeru-Otoko appears as a small, frog-like man with exaggerated, cartoonish features. His large, round glasses cover most of his eyes, making him look comical and slightly awkward. His face is broad and flat, with a wide mouth, resembling a frog’s. He has straight gray hair that hangs loosely around his head.[citation needed]
Personality[]
Kaeru-Otoko serves as Akuma-kun's right-hand man, supporting him constantly.[citation needed]
History[]
He was once an ordinary human. He was initially hired by Akuma-kun's father, Mr. Matsushita, to tutor his Ichirō. However, Ichirō disliked having a tutor and summoned the spirit of an ancient frog magician to possess his tutor's body, transforming him into Kaeru-Otoko. From that point on, Kaeru-Otoko became completely obedient to Akuma-kun, as if he had been brainwashed.
Akuma-kun's goal was to summon the devil, and Kaeru-Otoko played a crucial role in helping him achieve it. As the summoning ritual neared completion, their efforts were suddenly interrupted by an attack from Mr. Satan, who summoned a massive spider to overwhelm them. However, Kaeru-Otoko quickly came up with a plan. He called a giant toad, which lunged at the spider and devoured it whole, turning the tide of the battle and defeating Mr. Satan.
Kaeru-Otoko's father, Biwa-Hōshi, was unaware of his son's fate after his sudden disappearance. Heartbroken, he wandered the land, searching tirelessly for his missing son. Eventually, father and son were reunited, though Kaeru-Otoko had already been transformed by Akuma-kun's magic.[citation needed]
