Kerakera-Onna (ケラケラ女 Kerakeraonna, lit. laughing woman) is a large, human-like Yōkai.

In the manga, Kerakera-Onna is a large ugly lady with tied, dark hair, blackened lips and teeth, a wide body, and wears a kimono with floral patterns.

Warai-Gona (笑い粉, lit. laughing powder): Kerakera-Onna used this powder on humans and made them into Warai-Byō (笑い病, lit. laughing sickness) where they can't stop laughing.

Kerakera-Onna is a giant female yōkai from the Konjaku Hyakki Shūi best known for their loud cackling.
When a person walking alone on the street and begins to feel uneasy, they hear a shrill laughter. When they turn around, they find the Kerakera-Onna appearing from behind a wall, letting out ever louder cackling that startles them, and if you try to run away, the laughter will become even louder. Those who are weak-willed will faint just from hearing the laughter. Only the victim of the Kerakera-Onna can hear her laughter. She is thought to be the spirit of a prostitute.
