Kinoko Forest (木の子の森 Kinoko no Mori) is a forest in which it is, as the name implies, inhabited by the Kinoko.
Description[]
The Kinoko Forest is a vast forest, with a large variety of plants, colorful trees and several species of animals. Its climate appears to be warm, which can be deduced by the lush vegetation and mist surrounding the mountains. There is also a river where the Kinoko like to play. Additionally there are a few swings tied on several trees throughout the forest.[1]
Some trees can grow rather densely and reach extremely large sizes. One example is the tree housing the Kinoko, having grown wide enough to be able to use as a comfortable home.[1]
The time in the Kinoko Forest is different with respect to the human world; a day in the human world is approximately two to three days in the forest. In addition to this, humans who enter will age significantly faster. When they return to the human world they will revert back to the age when they entered.[1]
Localization[]
The Kinoko Forest is said to be located in a different world. A portal manifests briefly every 500 years.[1]
History[]
1985 Anime[]
2018 Anime[]
