The Kiyome no Honō (清めの炎, lit. Purification Flame) is a magical flame item.
Description[]
The Kiyome no Honō has the appearance of a frozen red flame, shaped-like a rain drop. It can affect yōkai of any kind. When not in use, it is a solid item. When in use, it consumes the target in flames.[1]
Features[]
Purification Flame: The Kiyome no Honō is used to burn yōkai or seal them within flames. Although regular yōkai, like Kitarō, are capable of holding the flame to use on others, hair yōkai like Kihatsu or Kuro-Kamikiri would burn to death upon touching it.[1]
