Kosokoso-Rock (こそこそ岩 Kosokoso-Iwa, meaning Sneaky Stone) is either one or more of ordinal-rock(s) haunted by Kosokoso, or an actual rock-like yōkai according to Yagyō-san.

Saishinban GeGeGe no Kitarō[]

In The Yōkaijū of Hell Arrives!, Yagyō-san took Kitarō to the place of Kosokoso-Rock and made Kitarō to do weight-lifting with the rock-yōkai.

Shinpen GeGeGe no Kitarō[]

Kosokoso was the actual cause of "Kosokoso-Rocks" to make "sneaky" voices midnight, and this was to scare off humans and to secure the cave which was connected to underground areas where the ancient demons were hiding and sleeping, and the boulder was guarding the cave entrance.

  • Kosokoso's design was based on the girl on Mizuki's illustration of Kosokoso-Rock.
