M (Emu) is a special type of drug featured in the movie adaptation of the 2018 anime, The Birth of Kitarō: Mystery of GeGeGe.
Description[]
It is created with bloods of Ghost Tribe and bodily fluids of humans who turned into shibito by being injected with the bloods of Ghost Tribe.
Recipients gain tremendous energies where ones can continuously work throughout all days without fatigue, and soldiers became temporarily immortal, resulting in Japan's victories in the First Sino-Japanese War and Russo-Japanese War.
History[]
During world wars, Japanese army used limited amounts of the drug on some of soldiers to empower them, and Japan won over China and Russia in First Sino-Japanese War and Russo-Japanese War.
Mizuki was sent to Nagura Village to investigate it although he suspicious of its existence.
