Mōrei-Yassan (猛霊八惨 Mōrei-Yassan), or Mōryō-Hassan, are a race of yōkai made from the souls of dead humans.
Appearance[]
The Mōrei-Yassan are yōkai that vaguely resemble Ittan-Momen having humanoid features, such as having arms and legs. They have skin that is a dull gray and their heads are rectangular and lack any shoulders. their eyes are light blue in color and they lack pupils. Their feet end in a single point and their hands have five digits.

Mōrei-Hassan appear in episode #98 of the third anime adaptation, Tsunami Yōkai Mōrei-Hassan.

In Sakaiminato, the city holds an annual festival to calm the spirits of Mōrei-Yassan.[1]
