Masae (マサエ Masae) is an elderly woman that appears in the 2018 anime anime. She took in Sunekosuri after finding him living like a stray and names him Shiro. Eventually, Sunekosuri had to leave her side so he would not continue to unintentionally drain her energy.[1]

Masae is an elderly woman, with graying hair tied in a bun, bushy eyebrows above her eyes which have brown irises, her face has several wrinkles and a mole under the left side of her left eye. She wears a white shirt under her purple jacket, dark purple pants, and dark purple sandals. When she first met Sunekosuri she wore a white long sleeve apron.[1]
