Mikoshi-Nyūdō (見越し入道 Mikoshi-Nyūdō, lit. Look over Monk) is a human-like yōkai.
Appearance[]
Especially in early days, appearances of Mikoshi-Nyūdō and Miage-Nyūdō have been confused both in illustrations and manga while Shigeru Mizuki's original illustration of Miage-Nyūdō of a long-necked human-like monster is more royal to the illustration of Mikoshi-Nyūdō by Toriyama Sekien. And these two designs between Miage-Nyūdō and Mikoshi-Nyūdō had been confused in Mizuki's illustrations and manga.
In manga, Mikoshi-Nyūdō appeared as the traditional design of Miage-Nyūdō as a long-necked man-like figure.
