Shapeshifting: Mujina is able to change his appearance, making himself resemble others.
- Nue Form: Mujina along with a thrush, took the form of a large shadowed beast with green eyes to act as Nue, serving as a distraction for him. Much like the Nue, he is able to surround himself with black clouds whilst flying, absorbing a human's life force and emitting a terrifying roar while in this form. His roar can cause those awake to become ill with gray marks across their body.[1]

Legend
The Mujina is an old Japanese term that now primarily refers to the Japanese badger, but was used for the Japanese raccoon dog, also known as the Tanuki in the past, causing confusion. In some regions, the term still refers to the Japanese raccoon dog (tanuki) or even foxes (kitsune). The Mujina of Japanese folklore is an avid shapeshifter and deceiver of humans. One of the forms the mujina is purported to take, is that of a "faceless ghost". The faceless ghost is often referred to by English speakers as a mujina, but the Japanese know it as Nopperabō.
Trivia
- Wataru Takagi voiced Mujina and he transformed into Nezumi-Otoko's fake brother in the fourth anime. Decade later, he voiced Nezumi-Otoko.
