Oshiroi-Babaa (白粉婆 Oshiroi-Babaa, lit. Face Powder Hag) is a yōkai that makes face powder that can steal faces.

Oshiroi-Babaa appears in episode #44 of the sixth anime adaptation, Masquerade Nopperabō.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
Poison Powder (毒白粉 Doku Oshiroi): By using her blowpipe, Oshiroi-Babaa generates a cloud of poisonous powder that surrounds her target in a harmful mist of poison.[1]

Powder Hat (白粉笠 Oshiroi Kasa): Oshiroi-Babaa's hat is strong enough to withstand Kitarō's Hair Needles, however, it disintegrated from Neko-Musume's claws.[1]
Face Stealing Powder: She uses this special powder to steal people's faces. When it is applied on the subject's face it leaves behind a blank white area. The face is then transported to a basin of powder, where she then collects it.

Oshiroi-Babaa is a yōkai that appears in the snowy mountains. She is depicted as a hunched-back old woman wearing a large straw hat and carrying a cane and a sake bottle as she walks through the snow while making a crunching sound similar to that of a mirror being dragged on the ground. The most notable feature of her is her face is snow white as if she has powder all over her face.
Toriyama Seiken's Konjaku Hyakki Shūi states that she is a servant to Shifun-Senjō, the goddess of face powder.
