Saci-Pererê (サシペレレ Sashiperere) is the eleventh of Shingo Umoregi's Twelve Apostles in Saishinban Akuma-kun and the subsequent Akuma-kun anime adaptation. He also appeared in the chapter Yōkai Bout of True Strength of Yuki-Hime-chan and GeGeGe no Kitarō.
Appearance[]
In the manga, Saci-Pererê is a one-legged, young boy with a lanky build and large foot. He wears a pointy bonnet and long-sleeve shirt.
In Akuma-kun, Saci-Pererê is shorter and has a rounder head and body. He has two legs (though still hops with them close together) beady eyes with more prominent pupils, and small lips. His shirt is spotted, and he often smokes a pipe. In the anime, he has dark-brown skin, blue eyes, a purple bonnet with pink trim, a red shirt with yellow spots, and green pants. When his pipe is removed, his eyes shrink and his bonnet flattens.

Personality[]
Saci-Pererê is a very kind and skilled akuma, acting friendly towards humans even before meeting Shingo.

Anime[]
Saci-Pererê first appears in Episode Nine of the 1989 Akuma-Kun anime. He joined the youth football team of a Brazilian school. He is first physically seen in a boat heading to Japan, and gets his pipe stolen by Monk Fish and brainwashed. When facing against Shingo Umoregi's team, he quickly overpowered them. After Monk Fish was defeated, Saci-Pererê is given back his pipe, and eventually wins the football game normally. Before that happens, Singo recruits him into the Twelve Apostles.
Powers and Abilities[]
Transformation: Saci-Pererê is able to transform his appearance to that of someone else's, doing so in a puff of pink smoke.
Equipment[]
Pipe: Saci-Pererê is often seen smoking (or at least sucking on) a pipe. This pipe acts as a pacifier, as if its removed, he starts to act like a baby. Messages from Solomon's Flute can also be transmitted through the pipe.
Legend[]
Saci-Pererê is a figure of the Brazilian folklore originated from the Guarani mythology that later was appropriated by the African slaves who portrayed him like a black boy with a single leg, a pipe and a red bonnet that gives him powers, like to create a swirl around himself.
He spends most of his time playing tricks on people, but he can easily be captured by throwing a sieve or a bottle in his whirlpool or tearing off the bonnet from his head. In doing so, Saci will become submissive to the person who captured him.
