Trivia[]
- Sea Monster's illustration by Shigeru Mizuki is presumably based on works by Paul Gustave Doré, Paradise Lost in 1866, The Monkey and the Dolphin in 1867, and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Part the First in 1875.[2][3]
- One of waterspouts in the illustration of Sea Monster based on The Rime of the Ancient Mariner was later reused in the illustration of Hebinami.
