Synopsis[]
A Fortune Teller tells Nezume-Otoko that Kitaro has died. But if he still happens to see Kitaro, he won't be the same Kitaro that Nezume remembers. Nezume then goes to Kitaro's house and sees that his mailbox is stuff full of letters. He also discovers construction workers on the property as well. As Nezume struggles to get the workers to leave, the sky grows dark and a yokai erupts from the lake and attack them all. Nezume later awakens at the hospital with Neko-Musume, who claims to have saved him. She also says that she just saw Kitaro not to long ago, and that he has changed and might as well be dead...
