Synopsis[]
Nezumi-Otoko is walking in the alleyways of a town preparing for Halloween when an eerie shadow appears before him. "I am the true son of the Western Yōkai emperor, Backbeard! I am Backbeard Junior!" The true identity of the voice claiming to be Backbeard's son is the Western Yōkai, Kōmori-Neko. In order to resurrect Backbeard, Kōmori-Neko earnestly requests of Nezumi-Otoko to help him collect human blood. Kōmori-Neko wanted to prove himself to Backbeard and his top brass no matter what. Although he already refused once, Nezumi-Otoko changes his mind and agrees to cooperate when he sees the large amount of reward coins. However, Nezumi-Otoko is unable to honestly obtain blood...!?

Trivia[]
- During the episode, Komori-Neko states "I'll become the Yōkai King" a reference to One Piece, protagonist, Monkey D Luffy's signature catchphrase "I'll become the Pirate King". To further add to this, Kōmori-Neko is called out on his use of the phrase by Sunakake-Babaa, who is herself voiced by Mayumi Tanaka, Luffy's voice actress.
