First issue of Shonen Magazine (1959)
Weekly Shonen Magazine (週刊少年マガジン, Shūkan Shōnen Magajin), also known simply as Shonen Magazine, is a weekly manga magazine which has been published since March 17, 1959 by Kodansha. It published the first serialized GeGeGe no Kitarō series as well as many other works by Shigeru Mizuki, including a second "Kitarō" series in the 1980s titled Shinpen GeGeGe no Kitarō.
