Spunkie resembles a young boy wearing a light blue cloak carrying a glowing ball of light. His eyes are blank white and he has a tuft of light gray hair.

In the Scottish Highlands, the Spunkie is a form of will-o'-the wisp that takes on the form of a linkboy or a receding light, those whose see the light shall be led to their doom. The Spunkie is also said to be responsible for shipwrecks because its light resembles a harbor light.
