The Guide (案内人 Annainin) is a yōkai who first appears in the Hakaba Kitarō story The Strangest Showdown.
Appearance[]
In the Manga, the Guide has an unusual appearance, being a tall, portly light-colored being where in place of a head is pair of legs point upward, on the sides are his four arms and a fifth arm behind his upper right arm.[1]
In the Hakaba anime, the Guide's appearance is largely the same, being a tall portly being with no head, a multitude of arms across his body and legs on the top and bottom of his torso, in addition he has pale beige skin.[2]
