Torakichi (寅吉 Torakichi) is a boy who appears in a chapter of the manga series Shinpika-Retsuden (神秘家列伝) by Shigeru Mizuki.

When Sunakake-Babaa wonders how many centuries ago the last human who wandered into the forest was, she remembers that Torakichi was the name of the boy who was the most recent visitor, prior to Yūta.[1]
Legend[]
Torakichi the Tengu boy is a famous legend in Japan. He was said to be disappeared in 1817 and reappeared out of nowhere in 1820 with rather unchanged appearance. Torakichi told people how he survived and learned under a Tengu, and Hirata Atsutane drew a picture of Sage world based on Torakichi's experiences and his descriptions.[2]
