Toshiko Sawada (沢田 淑子 Sawada Toshiko) is a character that appears in the 2018 anime.

Toshiko is an elderly woman with long grey hair, where the front of it flows down to the right side of her face. She has dull blue eyes, noticeable wrinkles, and a mole just below the left side of her left eye.
While at the hospital, she wore a light blue hospital kimono with matching trim.[1]

Etymology[]
- The name Toshiko means "quick, clever, or sharp" (淑 toshi) and "child" (子 ko), while her surname, Sawada, means "marsh" (沢 sawa) and "field, rice paddy" (田 ta/da).
