Vampires (吸血鬼 Kyūketsuki) are a class of yōkai known for drinking blood.
In the GeGeGe no Kitarō franchise, vampires are typically depicted as hailing from the west or from South Asia, but there are the rare vampires from Japan or China.
Description[]
Vampires come with a variety of appearances, some monstrous and some like humans, and have numerous other abilities, although there are several common traits which many of them share.
In the 2018 anime, humanoid vampires tend to have pale skin and pointy ears.

Powers and Abilities[]
Bloodsucking (吸血 Kyūketsu): The most common ability of any vampire is that they are capable of draining blood from their victims, with numerous methods on how they extract it, though the common process is usually through biting. They are able to restore their health and become empowered after consuming blood.
Vampire Conversion: Another common ability, vampires are able to convert others into vampires themselves. Most known vampires to do this, have those converted to be their minions.
Bat Taming: Several vampires are able to control and command colonies of Vampire Bats.
