Were-Tiger (妖虎 Yōko, lit. spooky tiger) is the the seventh of Shingo Umoregi's Twelve Apostles in Saishinban Akuma-kun and the subsequent Akuma-kun anime adaptation.
Appearance[]
Were-Tiger normally resembles an old man with a squarish head, white, knotted hair, big, swirly eyebrows that cover his eyes, and a curved goatee. He wears a cap, robe, and curled boots, colored purple with green edges in the anime.
Despite his name, Were-Tiger's tiger form in the anime resembles more of an oriental lion than a tiger. In the anime, he has a cyan body, yellow claws and eyes, and a dark-blue mane and tail. He has a red head, first implied in his first appearance to be due to drinking Kalma's alcohol, however this would later be implied to be its natural color.
Personality[]
Were-Tiger is normally very peaceful and kind, if not a bit too focused on alcohol, When in his true form, he acts more ferocious and willing to fight, roaring like a lion. Him and Yurugu often fight together.

Were-Tiger first appears in Episode Five of the 1989 Akuma-Kun anime. He came to Japan from China in his worldwide quest to find the best alcohol, coincidentally around the same time Karma used his own alcohol to brainwash adults. After Karma (in his little girl disguise) gives a bottle to him, Were-Tiger starts to feel a pain in his stomach, and so is taken by Mephisto II to recuperate. He turns into his true form and gets angry when Youaltepuztli tells the others more information about Karma. After running to the city, he manages to suck out everyone else's Karma, and fights the main one himself. After Kalma is defeated, he joins the Twelve Apostles.
Powers and Abilities[]
Fire Breath
Fūko (風虎 Wind Tiger): Were-Tiger is able to switch between his human form and his Were-Tiger form, resembling an oriental lion rather than a tiger.
Fire Manipulation: Were-Tiger is able to breath fire by igniting the alcohol within his stomach.
