Yokai Art Book

Yōkai Art Book (妖怪画談, Yōkai Gadan) refers to a series of yōkai guidebooks by Shigeru Mizuki released by Iwanami Shoten. The first book was released in 1992 and became a best-seller,[1] and by 1996 four books had been released. An anime adaptation was produced in 1994.

A short collection of animated shorts based on Shigeru Mizuki's illustrations. The shorts range in length from about one to four minutes with each short focusing on a different type of Yōkai. Shorts 1 and 15 do not focus on Yōkai, instead featuring dialogue and an appearance from Mizuki himself.
