The Yōkai Camera (妖怪カメラ Yōkai Kamera) is a camera capable of capturing those caught in its flash.[1]
Description[]
In the 1971 anime, the camera is made with a wooden frame, having a small compartment for the lens and black bellow. Atop the camera is a small gray viewfinder and a button to its right.[1]

Photograph Imprisonment: It can capture anything in its flash as it takes a picture, trapping them in the photograph.[1]
