The Yōkai Car (妖怪自動車 Yōkai Jidōsha) or Yōkai Car (妖怪カー Yōkai Kā) in Saishinban, is a car used by Kitarō throughout the series. There are several (roughly 3 to 4) types of it.
Description[]
Type1: Its body was made out of a skull of a dinosaur, and it uses four Wanyūdō as wheels. These Wanyudō are not malicious and were hired by Kitarō to serve as its wheels in exchange for having a rice-ball per day as payment as shown in the illustration.

Key: In the 1996 anime, a key is needed to seal and control the Wanyūdō to drive it normally, otherwise the Wanyūdō would take over and modify the car into a demonic version of itself and would begin to rampage, even trying to take over Jigoku.[1]

- The "Unclear being" (よくわからないもの Yoku-Wakaranai-Mono)lives within the car body under Nezumi-Otoko in the illustration by Mizuki.
- A remote-controlled toy model appeared in the ending theme Ushimitsu Jamboree, being used by Yagyō-san in a playground.
- In the 1985 anime, Yagyō-san's Yōkai Tank resembles the Yōkai Car.
