Yūko Tendō (天童 優子 Tendō Yūko) is the wife of Masao Tendō and the mother of Yumeko Tendō and Hoshirō Tendō.

1985 Anime[]
Like the rest of the Tendō family, Yūko only appears in the 1985 GeGeGe no Kitarō anime where she first appears in the second episode of the third anime adaptation, Kagami-Jijii.
Trivia[]
Etymology[]
- The name Yūko means "excellence, superiority, gentleness" (優 yū) and "child" (子 ko), while her surname Tendō means "cherub, gods disguised as children, or children parading as cherubs" (天童 Tendō).
