Yomotsu Hirasaka (黄泉平坂 or 黄泉比良坂 Yomotsu Hirasaka, meaning. straight slope to Yomi) is an underground path that leads to Jigoku in the 2018 anime.[1]
Description
Yomotsu Hirasaka is a deep, dark cavern that leads to Jigoku. The cavern is covered with a rocky surface, where the ceiling is rather curved while the ground is decorated with green-yellow rocks of varying sizes scattered across the floor. A human skull is also found littered on the ground. The entrance from Earth is blocked by a stone called the Chibiki Stone (
Localization
While the exact location of Yomotsu Hirasaka's entrance is unknown, it is shown to be located in a forest. The entrance from Jigoku is shown to be facing the left side of Enma-Daiō's palace.[1]

2018 Anime
After preventing the chaos caused by Nanashi, Kitarō and Medama-Oyaji travel through Yomotsu Hirasaka to persuade Enma-Daiō to bring Neko-Musume back to life.[1]
Legend
Yomotsu Hirasaka is the slope that leads to Yomi. At the base of the slope the entrance to Yomi is blocked by a boulder called the Chibiki Stone, placed there by Izanagi after fleeing from Izanami. According to Kojiki, it lies in the Izumo province.
