Yuki-Onna (雪女 Yuki-Onna, lit. Snow Woman) are snow yōkai women that only live in snowy places and are never known to travel long distances, especially not during any seasons aside from winter.

Multiple Yuki-Onna appears in episode #78 of the fifth anime adaptation, Yuki-onna! Beautiful Vengeful Demon. [1]
They later appears in GeGeGe no Kitarō: Nippon Bakuretsu!!. multiple Yuki-Onna appear amongst the multitude of Yōkai parading through cities due to Yato-no-Kami's influence, during this, they froze a fire department and trapped the firefighters within. They were later returned to where they came from after Hana agrees to follow Yato-no-Kami.[2]

Yuki-Onna is a spirit or yōkai in Japanese folklore. She is a popular figure in Japanese literature, manga, and animation. Yuki-Onna are sometimes confused with Yama-Uba ("mountain crone"), but they are not the same. They are also known as Yuki-Jorō (雪女郎 Yuki-Jorō) in some legends.
