Zack Davisson is a writer, comic book translator and a scholar of Japanese folklore. He has translated most of the GeGeGe no Kitarō English-language books published by Drawn & Quarterly. He also translated Drawn & Quarterly's English releases of Shigeru Mizuki's other works, Showa: A History of Japan and Shigeru Mizuki's Hitler.
